Holiday

My favorite holiday is by far Christmas. And it’s not because you get presents it’s because I think everyone and everything is nicer. Theres lights everywhere or red bows on street lights. Go into any store and I can guarantee that you hear christmas carols. The weather gets colder and it is the only time where I seriously enjoy Texas.

Winter is my favorite season, so I wish it would start snowing or that I lived somewhere that was cold year round. When it is cold outside I would love sitting by the fire place while drinking hot chocolate with the big marshmallows. It sounds very cliche but I would still enjoy the whole experience of frosty windows and snow covered streets.

A Day in Paris.

We boarded the plane to Paris. The trip was about a 11 hour flight. The plane ride was long but the time passed by as we  watched movies and slept. We hopped of the plane; I was pretty excited for what the day had in stored! All my family from California was there. It was a pretty large group. Paris was pretty cold; it was a huge temperature change from the temperature in Texas. I had about four layers of clothes on. We settled our selves in the two condos we rented for our two week trip. The first destination was definitely the Eiffel Tower. It was cold and rainy when we got to the tower. We didn’t get to ride the elevators up to the top of the tower to get a panoramic view of the city because the lines where extremely long that day. It started to rain even harder so we decided to get something to eat. We tried escargot which was a unique taste. The serving sizes where pretty small compared to America’s. The food and dining experiences were not that different from America’s though. We where all tired so we decided to walk back to our condos and get some rest. That was our first day in Paris.
